SERVICE AGREEMENT

Elematic service agreements are designed to protect your precast technology investment and increase production uptime. Each agreement typically includes access to Elematic E-shop online portal, priority in service in customer support, remote support, regular service visits for consulting in operations, production and maintenance issues, machine and equipment auditing services, training services, and digital services enabling higher uptime.

The service agreement reduces unplanned downtime and enables preventive maintenance strategy, supporting stable production performance and improved cost predictability. Each agreement is individually structured to deliver maximum value for your specific precast production environment.

ONSITE SERVICES AND AUDITS

Service visits

Elematic service experts can visit your site to provide support related to machinery, production quality, or personnel training. During a service visit, our specialists work closely with your team to identify issues and resolve production or maintenance challenges efficiently.

By detailed planning of the service visit scope and deliverables jointly with you in advance, we ensure that the right expert is assigned to your needs, enabling effective and targeted support.

Machinery audit

A machinery audit is designed to identify potential hidden issues that may be difficult to detect during daily operation but could develop into more serious problems over time. Early identification allows maintenance actions to be planned ahead to fit the production schedule without disturbances.

The audit is carried out during a service visit and includes:

  • Inspection of machine mechanics, components, electrical systems, and automation
  • Maintenance and cleaning instructions
  • Recommendations for spare and wear parts
  • Safe operations guidance

The audit concludes with a written report outlining the condition of the machine and providing recommendations for required maintenance, repairs, and updates.

Machine updates

Changes in requirements and regulations may create the need to update existing machinery. Safety upgrades are particularly common on older equipment and, in some cases, are legally required before the machine can continue operating.

Typical updates include blade covers and dust reduction devices for saws, as well as collisionprevention systems such as ultrasensors and safety buffers to improve workplace safety.

Factory audit

A factory audit is a service visit aimed at identifying opportunities to further improve production efficiency and factory profitability. During the audit, an experienced Elematic expert evaluates output, production processes, machinery condition and operation, layout, working methods, and conducts interviews with key personnel to derive insights on how the performance could be improved.

Following the audit, you will receive a written report summarizing findings and providing practical recommendations to support improved productivity and operational performance.

REMOTE SUPPORT AND DIAGNOSTICS

Remote connection

Remote connection enables Elematic experts to support your team quickly in the event of an unexpected machinery downtime. If the root cause of an issue is difficult to identify, our specialists can connect securely to the machine’s PLC to support troubleshooting.

Remote support can include testing automation functions, identifying cable or sensor defects, diagnosing potential fault sources, and updating machine programs.

Close cooperation with the customer throughout the project ensures that solutions are aligned with real production needs, while systematic execution and followup support longterm performance and reliability.

With clear visibility, coordinated planning, and actionable recommendations, precast producers can continuously improve performance, adapt to changing requirements, and build more efficient, resilient, and sustainable operations.

Remote connection kit

To enable remote support, a remote connection kit is required. The kit includes a secure connection device, mobile and ethernet connection modules, a power supply, and required cabling. An Elematic service expert provides guidance on connecting the kit to the machinery.

The remote connection kit is compatible with most Elematic machines. Its compact design makes it easy to move between machines and locations within the factory.
