The Extruder S5-1200e is well suited to mobile precast plants and to outdoor production. The machine is sturdy, durable and easy to handle.
As with other Elematic Extruders, the S5 features shear compaction casting for high-quality slabs, minimum use of concrete and accurate dimensions for slab height and voids. The product range it produces includes 1.2-meter-wide slabs of 120 to 320 mm in thickness, with 5 to 8 voids in different shapes and optimized cross sections. The machine has a patented strand guide for the correct positioning and easy installation of strands. Casting efficiency can be further increased and waste minimized by using a start plate.
The Extruder S5 is fast to clean and easy to maintain, and wear parts are easily accessible and upgradable to adapt to changing needs.
The Extruder S5 consists of a casting module and an interchangeable slab-type-specific product module. In addition, a cable drum with a cable or a power connector is needed to run the machine.
The removable S5-1200e casting module consists of a concrete hopper and an operating unit with motors. Product modules are available as standard for slab thicknesses from 120 mm to 320 mm. Changing product modules takes less than an hour.
Like all Elematic machinery, safety features are built in. The Extruder S5 has a safety-promoting design with a flat exterior surface and an antiskid system on the steps. Noise levels are kept below 85 dB*.
The machine meets EC Machine Directive requirements and comes with thorough, clear operator, maintenance and safety manuals in the required language.
The extruder moves on four wheels on the side rails of the casting bed. It is pushed forward by the reaction force of the concrete feeding screws. The Extruder S5 is operated with a push-button control panel.
