Today, precast plants often lack real time connections between different work processes. By bridging the different processes digitally, major improvements in the production efficiency and profitability of the plant can be achieved. Elematic Plant Control production planning system does just that.

Plant Control helps to optimize precast production and the use of resources. The system allows managing, controlling and optimizing the automatic machines and the whole production process.

The independent modules in Plant Control system connect and support different production lines, sales, storage, logistics and total plant operation. There is no need for a big investment at one go as, thanks to the modularity of the system, it is possible to expand it step by step to include more functions. This way it is also possible to make sure that everything runs as it should in the selected functions before moving onto next level.

The system can take product design information from BIM systems such as Tekla Structures or Nemetschek Planbar. In addition to communicating with the designers, Plant Control helps sharing information with the construction site.

Furthermore, Plant Control features an easy-to-use visual user interface with a drag and drop function and clear icons and buttons that guide the user through different operations. The system is both easy to learn and simple to use.

COMPOSE

The Products module forms the basis for the whole Plant Control system. It must always be installed; the module includes basic product information with import links to integrated software systems such as Tekla Structures or other similar software.

Plant Control modules include functions for both factory operations and the actual precast production. The system offers the following modules.

Factory

  • Dashboard: Costs, Mobile

Wall Production

  • Production, Work hours, Quality

This combination is also known as WallMES, manufacturing execution system for precast wall production.

Floor Production

Machine control, Production, Monitoring

This combination is also known as FloorMES, manufacturing execution system for precast floor slab production.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

Elematic software is network-based. The software itself is located on a server, and the user runs it – Plant Control Factory and WallMES modules – on a standard personal computer via a web browser. For the FloorMES modules, a Windows application is provided.
