The Elematic Driller E9 is designed to drill water holes into hollow core slabs during precast concrete production. The holes are required to allow water to drain out of the slab voids during storage and installation on site.
|Length||min. 4100 mm|
|Max. length of slab||24 m|
The Driller E9 features two drilling units that simultaneously drill holes from underneath into the voids at both ends of the slab. All the holes are drilled in one go in less than 10 seconds The Driller can be used in slabs with 8, 6, 5 and 4 voids.
The slab is moved into place for drilling by a crane and placed on both drilling units. The distance between the units can be adjusted with drive motors.
A signal light shows when drilling is complete.
The Driller E9 meets all EC Machine Directive requirements. It is delivered with comprehensive operator, maintenance and safety manuals in the required language.
The Driller E9 consists of two portal-type semi-automatic drilling units that move on the edge rails of the casting bed. Electric power is supplied to one of the units through a cable drum; the length of the cable (without a plug) is 48 m. The drilling units are connected to each other by a 28 m long cable.
