Dr. Karsten Obenaus brings more than 30 years of experience, including over 12 years in CFO and managing director roles within international, capital-intensive manufacturing environments. His background includes senior financial leadership positions at private-equity owned and publicly listed companies, most recently as CFO of Braun Connectivity Solutions Group.
Prior to this, he held multiple CFO, Managing Director, and Senior Vice President roles at UNIWHEELS AG / Superior Industries Europe AG, where he was instrumental in the company’s IPO, major financing and refinancing transactions, M&A activities, and a successful exit to Superior Industries International. Dr. Obenaus has led complex international organizations with multisite production footprints across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, and brings strong expertise in financial transformation, cash flow optimization, and value creation.
In his role as CFO, he will be responsible for Elematic Group’s global finance organization, financial strategy, and governance, supporting the company’s continued profitable growth, international expansion, and value creation.
