Around 20 VIP guests attended the opening of the new production facility in Jiangsu, China. Among them were the Consul General of Finland in Shanghai Anu Vuori-Kiikeri, Elematic joint-venture partners from Teeyer, and important Chinese precast industry players and customers.
The guests admired the Jiangsu facility’s two showrooms and witnessed the festive unveiling of a miniature model of the 10 tailormade precast production lines that our Chinese joint venture has delivered to Shanghai Citi-Raise Group. The program was topped off with a good dinner.
Wang Huajiong, general manager of China’s biggest precast concrete manufacturer Shanghai Citi-Raise Group was also present, and he was impressed with the elaborate 4×4-meter miniature model.

Chinese production off to a good start
The joint venture between Elematic PC Machinery and Teeyer was signed in the autumn and shortly after the production of precast equipment in our brand-new factory on the Chinese east coast could begin.
China’s Covid restriction gave some challenges, but Chinese precasters have warmly welcomed Elematic in the market, says Kauppinen.
“We are now in the ramp-up period, but we have already had significant deliveries, such as the one to Shanghai Citi-Raise Group.”
