Advanced Shuttle system for solar ‑glass manufacturing
Borosil is partnering with Elematic to automate the handling and transportation of heavy raw materials feeding its solar glass production process.
Elematic’s delivery includes three shuttles: two operate simultaneously while the third remains on standby for maintenance. The track and automation systems enable 24/7/365 operation. Shuttles are loaded evenly over 24-hour cycles, allowing daily maintenance without disrupting production.
The automated solution improves the stability and continuity of Borosil’s manufacturing operations – critical for large furnaces.
