Main Responsibilities
- Own and drive day‑to‑day operational planning for mechanical engineering activities in Finland.
- Balance workload and resources across projects, support tasks, R&D, and continuous improvements
- Ensure engineering delivery meets project milestones and internal service levels
- Act as the primary interface between Finland Mechanical Engineering and Project Management, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Procurement, and Sales
- Improve delivery predictability through structured planning, prioritisation, and follow‑up
- Track and follow up engineering performance metrics
- Ownership of team development, performance follow‑up, and competence growth
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in machinery or equipment design and 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills in a project‑driven environment
- Ability to work across functions and manage multiple stakeholders
- High level of process discipline and willingness to enforce structured ways of working
- Experience working in a global engineering environment
- Willingness to travel when required
- Fluent in Finnish and strong English skills

About You
You have a solid background in mechanical engineering and feel comfortable working close to projects, people, and operational execution. You naturally bring structure to complex environments and communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
You already have led teams or engineering operations and you are ready to take the next step into a broader leadership role with responsibility growing in a controlled and supported manner.
