Batching and Mixing
Concrete production is the core part of the precasting process. This is done by mixing cement, sand, and other aggregates with water and sometimes also with additives prior to molding. In PRO Floor production line this is done by Batching and Mixing Plant P7-40.
Elematic concrete transportation systems transport concrete to the casting station of a precast factory. The system consists of tracks and shuttles in the needed amount. The track is electrified and the system functions automatically. The transportation in PRO Floor production line is handled by Shuttle E9-2800.
Distributor is a half portal overhead bucket gantry, that serves as an intermediate concrete storage between the Shuttle and casting machine.
Bed preparation in PRO Floor production line is carried out by Preparer E9-1200p. First the Preparer cleans and oils the casting bed and then it pulls the prestressing strands on the bed.
Prestressing P7-300, single Stressing abutments are designed for holding strands of the floor slabs during prestressing. The maximum force the abutments can take is 300 tons. The single stressing device is used to stress each strand separately (max 16t).
The casting machine is lifted onto the bed and filled with concrete. The concrete is transported to the hopper of the casting machine by the transportation and distribution systems. The casting in PRO Floor production line is done by either Extruder E9-1200e or Slipformer P7-1200s.
The concrete is covered with tarpaulin covers (provided by buyer) to prevent loss of moisture and to preserve optimal curing conditions. The curing is done naturally.
After curing, the saw is lifted onto the bed and products are cut to length automatically according to the production plan. The cutting in PRO Floor production line is done by Saw P7-500.
Storing, lifting and transferring
The lifting beam is designed to lift the cut slabs from the beds using an overhead crane with two hoists 4.0m apart. The construction is telescopic, clamps are moved electronically. Transport wagons are used for transporting precast products to the storage area, pulled by steel wire. One pair of wagons carry 50t load. Steel wire is powered by radio controlled pulling device. The storage clamps can lift and stack slabs, either one by one or in bundles, by storage crane with two hoists.
