Pioneers of precast
People want safe, durable and individual homes. Organizations need effective and flexible venues for their operations, whether commercial, industrial or public. Need to build fast and profitably is common for all markets around the globe. Elematic was founded in 1959, already five decades ago. Universal needs to manufacture efficiently different type of building products have been a strong base to build a business.
Since the beginning, Elematic has operated in the precast niche business requiring know-how applicable across the globe. Labeled by ambitious product development and active search for new markets, it has succeeded to meet the customer requirements across changing times.
Elematic started its operations with hollow-core slab production technologies and took the leadership of the premium market quite fast. Breakthroughs in the Middle East in the 70s and in Russia in the 80s established the international business of the company.
In the end of 80s, Elematic launched shear compaction, the extruding innovation that changed the perception of precast quality over the night. Industrial design was fully integrated into the product development enhancing the usability and safety of machinery and production lines in the mid-90s. Since then, Elematic’s machinery has been awarded for the design several times.
Use of precast in floors, walls, frames and foundations got more and more popular, when the benefits of the industrialized precast concrete construction were understood. Elematic had developed from the machinery supplier to the provider of the complete precast factories. In 2012 company got the contract to supply the world’s largest precast factory to the Bismayah New City project in Iraq.
Nowadays, Elematic’s pioneering in the precast industry has been acknowledged also in the developing markets. The company strengthened its design expertise in Asia in the beginning of 2014. More and more projects start with the precast building concept design and consultation, together with structural designers and building constructors.
