Hollow-core plant investment
In this workshop you learn what to consider prior to finalizing a hollow-core plant investment. Market survey and business concept is discussed in detail. Will the investment be profitable is learned through a feasibility study demonstration and finally you get tools on selecting the right technical solution.

Workshop 2 Design hollow-core factory
Process and layout planning
In this workshop you learn the key points to be taken into account when planning the factory lay-out, choosing the machinery and deciding on the automation level. The factors affecting the production capacity are also discussed in this workshop. Finally, the participants make a simple exercise with a 3D hollow-core factory model and work-time chart.

Workshop 3 Maintenance and service of hollow-core production line
Effective troubleshooting
In this workshop you learn how to minimize stoppages and how to keep your hollow-core line running. Hands-on advice is worked out to questions like what to do when the extruder does not start or the slab quality is unsatisfactory, what to do if strand slippage is detected or cutting cause breakages or the saw blade gets jammed? Finally you know how to analyze the whole production process.
