Sustainability in the precast value chain

Elematic’s purpose is to enable more sustainable and safe building construction with technology solutions for precast production. This is the core of our sustainability approach. Precast concrete is resource-efficient, scalable, and flexible and provides architectural freedom. It makes the whole construction process more efficient. Concrete structures have a long service life and a low need for maintenance and repair, providing significant sustainable value.

Elematic strives to engage its value chain in carbon reduction and to enable a more positive handprint of precast industry with its solutions. We are developing solutions towards low-carbon construction together with an extensive network of partners.

We minimize environmental impact by improving energy and resource efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting the use of low-carbon materials. Our products are designed for long lifecycles, and we continuously reduce emissions both in our own operations and across the value chain. For our own operations, our target is to reduce Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 50% by 2030 (vs. 2023).
