Elematic shows how hollow-core slabs with built in lifting loops add safety to building sites

With one invention safety and productivity can be increased simultaneously at construction sites and precast hollow-core slab factory. Just before Christmas 2011, at Ylöjärvi test factory, Elematic introduced a new, safe method for hollow-core slab lifting, and the machine that installs the loops into the slabs. Invited builders, occupational safety managers, and precast manufacturers were thrilled of this novelty: loops that make lifting very safe and fast, and the machine (LoopMaster) that adds on value, and profitability to existing hollow-core slab production.

Goldbeck Prefabeton S.R.O in Czech Republic made a ground breaking move by purchasing the Elematic SlabMaster. With the help of SlabMaster they have been able to produce effectively more complicated hollow-core slab designs than before since the recess-making is now done by machine. This has had a positive effect on Goldbeck’s sales too.

The Club meeting of Elematic's customers in Russia gathered nearly 30 participants to Hotel Oksana in Moscow. This annual meeting was organized for the second time at the end of November. This Club was originally organized upon Russian customers’ request and proved to be very successful. The theme of the meeting this time was the production of sandwich walls. Customers from around Russia were present, the furthest coming all the way from Novosibirsk.

SMEET Precast entrusted Elematic, as a leading technology company, with its investment in a complete precast factory. This factory will be the largest and the most advanced single precast factory in the region. This manufacturing facility will cover a massive area of 300,000 square meters at Mesaieed - Qatar and is to be commissioned in phases starting the first quarter of 2012. It will house a state-of-the-art hollow-core slab production line, columns, prestressed beam lines, tilting tables for delicately-shaped and colored architectural precast units, a fully-automated circulating plant (for mass production of sandwich and solid wall panels), special infrastructure precast units and other components of precast applications.

India: Elematic, Janapriya Projects ally to set up precast plant

For the setting up of a precast concrete plant, a technology alliance has been established between Finland-based Elematic and India's Janapriya Projects. Indian firms Kotak Reality and Janapriya Engineers Syndicate are joint owners of the special purpose vehicle Janapriya Projects. In the Indian state of Hyderabad, the plant will be built at the upcoming 32-acre township project in Sainikpuri. The plant will produce precast walls that will be installed at the township project, which will have 2,000 units of apartments built.
